Historical Testing

Testing & Evidence

A transparent record of BRStrongTrend outcomes and strong-sequence market behavior across five historical NQ ORENKO testing periods from June 15, 2025 through September 3, 2026. These findings describe the tested samples and do not predict future results.

Combined observations

Two findings—measured separately.

The PB-2 setup result and the broader market-structure observation answer different questions and are not combined into a single performance claim.

63.40%

BRStrongTrend PB-2 setup-success rate

698 winners among 1,101 completed PB-2 observations under the tested target-and-structural-stop methodology.

81.13%

Parent extreme reached first

Of 3,137 completed structural corrections, 2,545 reached the frozen parent extreme before violating the frozen parent origin.

Important: These percentages are historical sample observations—not guaranteed probabilities, projected returns, or evidence that every signal should be traded.

Hypothetical-performance disclosure

These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those being shown.

What the results mean

Indicator performance is not the same as structural behavior.

63.40% PB-2 observation

  • 1,106 total PB-2 observations
  • 1,101 completed: 698 winners and 403 losers
  • Five unresolved/session-close observations excluded from the win rate
  • 60-tick target; stop structurally based on the signal bar
  • Total hypothetical result: +42.15R; average: +0.0383R per completed observation

81.13% structural observation

  • 3,137 completed structural corrections
  • 2,545 reached the frozen parent extreme first
  • 592 violated the frozen parent origin first
  • Individual period rates ranged from approximately 79.23% to 82.86%
Structural definition

Parent extreme first—or parent origin first?

For every qualifying strong directional sequence, the parent origin and parent extreme were frozen. The correction was then followed until one of those two levels was reached first.

01

Freeze the parent structure

Parent Origin marks the beginning of the qualifying sequence. Parent Extreme marks the directional extreme established by that sequence.

02

Follow the correction

The observation remains active through subsequent price development; an opposite strong sequence does not terminate it.

03

Classify the first event

Extreme first is a structural success; origin penetration first is a structural failure. Session-end unresolved cases are censored.

Back-test dates

Five historical NQ testing periods.

The combined test spans approximately June 15, 2025 through September 3, 2026 and is divided into five contract/testing periods rather than one continuous dataset.

Periods 1–3

  • Period 1: June 16, 2026–September 3, 2026
  • Period 2: March 16, 2026–June 12, 2026
  • Period 3: December 15, 2025–March 13, 2026

Periods 4–5

  • Period 4: September 15, 2025–December 12, 2025
  • Period 5: June 15, 2025–September 11, 2025
Test boundaries

Transparency matters more than a headline percentage.

Current test scope

  • Instrument: NQ futures
  • Chart construction: ORENKO 40/24/70
  • Test type: historical back-test
  • Five NQ contract/testing periods
  • Unresolved session-end observations treated as censored

Interpretive limits

  • Historical testing cannot reproduce every live-market condition
  • Results can change across samples and market regimes
  • Execution costs, slippage, and discretionary decisions may affect realized outcomes
  • No result guarantees future performance or profitability
